Part 1: Social Media

To support businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Small Business Centre and our Digital Main Street Digital Service Squad present a three-part webinar learning series designed to empower businesses to use digital tools to their advantage during this time.

Part 1 of the Virtual Learning Series will be hosted by Melissa Pauli-Cardoso, Social Media and Team Lead for the Digital Service Squad. In order for business owners and entrepreneurs to take advantage of this unprecedented “down time”, the topic of social media will be broken down into four key components:
1) Preparation
2) Creation
3) Implementation
4) Track & Monitor

Building on the four points listed above, Melissa will share four key activities and a case study on how to effectively reach these objectives:
1) Awareness
How to reach further on your platform than your Barrie audience
2) Engagement
Engage with your current and potential audience
3) Data Collection
Conducting metrics and analytics reports your platforms
4) Website Traffic
Create a call-to-action (CTA) for your website visitors i.e., sign up for your blog or loyalty program
